  It's definitely a diner. Don't come with higher expectations, and you'll be fine. Luckily when me and my boyfriend went, there was no wait. We went on a Sunday morning, and the place was packed. Our waitress was definitely more of the no-frills attitude, but still friendly. I think the place is always pretty busy, especially during weekends, which is where I can see service becoming subpar.
  
  We ordered the waffle with strawberries and whipped cream, florentine omelette, and corned beef hash. Honestly, nothing was particularly special, but I think that's the beauty (or detriment?) of eating at diners. Filling portions and cheap prices for food that I could probably make for myself but am too lazy to actually do. Only real negative I have was that the hash was too salty for me, although I don't think that's unusual for this dish.
  
  Come hungry, leave averagely satisfied but without making too much of a dent in your wallet.

  This place seems like they've realized they can provide mediocre food and service and still be acceptable enough to be crowded for a weekend breakfast. However it was pretty disappointing from the get go.
  
  Walked in and probably 4 teenagers were at the wait stand, every single one of them looking down. We stood there awkwardly for about five minutes just waiting for someone to acknowledge us. Finally get someone's attention and sit down. And wait. And wait, and wait.
  
  Finally a waitress comes over and asks "if we want to order". When telling her yes, she disappears for another ten minutes before we finally actually get to order.
  
  Never got asked or offered a refill on coffee, so forget that. French toast was obviously frozen and half cooked at that (No real French toast is yellow on the inside, or in my case, cold, mushy, and half white because it was still half frozen). Eggs tasted fake, potatoes were barely cooked. Nothing on my plate was even remotely warm. So many cheap shortcuts taken here and it's a shame because I would have loved to come back and try lunch, but I certainly won't be now.  It wasn't even worth the effort to send back as we maybe saw the waitress twice and an entirely different person brought our food and picked up our check.

  Not really understanding the negative reviews. We've lived nearby this diner for over two years, and any time we need that diner/breakfast fix, we come here. Satisfied every time. They're always nice, we've never had to wait, they refill your coffee, and food hits the spot. 4 stars because there isn't anything particularly special, and just a few times they've answered some of my price questions wrong. But if you want a solid diner experience, there is just no reason not to visit this nice and friendly place.

  Absolutely fabulous breakfast and the service is second to none... Peter is a wonderful person and he makes everybody feel like they are part of the family.. thank you for a terrific meal and experience..

  Place is OK -kinda hit or miss and pretty much the usual. Been here a bunch of times. It appears Greek owned and there is some Greek grind on the large menu. The usual diner scene: mental at weekend breakfast, not the cleanest, intermittently good service, and meh joe (not expecting kopi luwak joe, so no worries). Once went here with my one, Mo, and got gyros. Like 11 bucks for a teenie gyro -was meh. No fries with. Usually get the steak and eggs breakfast, steak is often janky and grisly AF (not expecting Ruth Chris, so no worries). Not always prompt coffee/water refills. Often a romper-room environment with toddlers screaming and going mental, etc. Old people too. Friendly enough waiters and waitresses -some young and Greek and some older Flo types too. It's food. However, I bet they got some decent comfort/homemade foods (meatloaf, fish n' chips, and specials) which I have yet to try. Go on the off hours to avoid the crowd and noise. AR&D gets a rock-solid meh-plus rating from me. Peep it out if you want to experience "the usual" diner food and service... C U soon, YELPers.
